Here’s a few shots from the Raven’s game. It was nice to see the Hawks beat a good team. It was a pretty intense and exciting game from start to finish. There was also a pre-game card stunt in tribute to Veterans Day, which was fun to see. The guy in charge was standing next to me and was pretty nervous about how it would look with all the empty seats of late arriving fans during the national anthem, but it ended up looking pretty good even with the holes.

Despite the hard fought and violent football contest, Ray Lewis shows there are no hard feelings and chats with friends on the Seahawks.

It was a rough game. Lots of tricks, not many treats from the Seahawks perspective. It looked promising with about 4 minutes to go and the ball in the hands of the offense, but fell apart quickly at the end. It’s amazing how quick tides can turn in a football game. Sidney Rice caught this ball just out of bounds and landed right next to me.

Safety Earl Thomas returns an interception in the first quarter. It rained about as hard as I can remember for a half a quarter, then thankfully cleared up before my cameras were completely soaked! You have to be prepared for anything as a Seattle Photographer.

Here are a few shots from the home opener last weekend. I was resigned to the fact that this is going to be a rebuilding year, and not to expect much, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, mainly by the defense. They looked really good, and if things keep progressing they will be a real strength of the team going forward. Now the offense just needs to catch up….

It was great to finally be back on the field shooting for the Seahawks. This year will be interesting with so many new players. It’s pretty unbelievable, but only 2 players are left from the 2005 Super Bowl Team.

I love how you see the size different of the players. Justin Forsett can be hard to find by opposing defenses.

It will be interesting to see how things play out with new QB Tavaris Jackson. It was strange to not see Hassellbeck under center.

Robert Gallery was always one of the most recognizable players on the Raiders. He'll bring some fire to this offensive line, and will be fun to photograph.

Love this low angle shot of the offense. I shot this laying on the ground with my camera right on the field. Was hoping to shoot them scoring a TD but it didn't happen on this play.

Anthony McCoy scores a TD. It's great when you can catch the referee in the background signaling a touchdown.
