Cat + Brandon
This was taken in April when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom at UW. There were literally about 200 people taking pictures when I got there, it was pretty comical. There were probably 10 professional photographers doing various sessions, and a ton of other people with their own cameras just taking pictures. It’s amazing I was able to get this shot with no one in the background, and I just love their expressions. This is exactly what I try to capture at engagement sessions. It’s pretty easy to take a pretty picture, but capturing moments that show the relationship are so much more special!

I missed a chance to shoot the cherry blossoms this year, and your photo makes me realize how much harder I should have tried to make the time to take some photos. Beautiful work.
Hit the submit button too quickly! The composition here is is wonderful, love the nice shallow depth of field and exposure to put emphasis on the subjects. Very nice!
