Happy Halloween!

It was a rough game. Lots of tricks, not many treats from the Seahawks perspective. It looked promising with about 4 minutes to go and the ball in the hands of the offense, but fell apart quickly at the end. It’s amazing how quick tides can turn in a football game. Sidney Rice caught this ball just out of bounds and landed right next to me.

Happy New Year Everyone. Sorry for the few blog posts lately, but I’ve been doing a lot of work on the site behind the scenes, and of course shooting a bunch.

Here’s a few from the last Seahawk’s game of the season. I still can’t believe we had such a bad year. But the great thing about the NFL is you can turn things around quickly, so cross your fingers this off season.

Nate Burleson signed autographs before the game. He signed for everyone who asked, which is pretty rare. It's great to see when players really give back to the fans.

Favorite player into of the day: Colin Cole. He has a great look for a Defensive Tackle.

Nick Reed broke through with a great tackle on the opening kickoff.

The Hawks spend most of the day chasing Chris Johnson. It really felt like they did a good job of containing him, but unfortunately containing him means he still gets 130 yards. He's definitely a player to watch the next couple years.

Here’s a few shots from the Lions game on Sunday. I have to admit I was a bit nervous the first quarter. It was way too reminiscent of the Cardinals game getting down so fast so early in the game. But thankfully the Hawks came together and pulled out a nice win. The secondary had a great game with 5 picks!

I love this shot of Aaron Curry. The look on his face reminds me of seeing a nature shot where a hungry lion circles a wounded animal. You feel bad for the young quarterback, but have to realize it's just the circle of life

Newly signed Louis Rankin returning a punt. Rumor has it, he is quite fast, and should be an exciting one to watch when the ball is kicked his way.

David Hawthorne makes a nice tackle. He's done an amazing job filling in for Lofa Tatupu. Big shoes to fill.

I always love big crowd shots where you can see a lot of peoples faces and their various reactions.

Josh Wilson runs back an interception for the game clinching touchdown. I love the grin starting to appear on his face.

Favorite shot of the day. He ran right by us before being tackled by happy teammates.

Here’s a few from last weeks beat-down, I mean game against the Jaguars. It was great to see the Hawks finally start to click as a team. Every part of the team played really well.

Anyone who watched sports highlights this week, probably saw that Owen Schmitt actually cracked his head open doing this. I remember thinking how this must hurt as I was shooting this, and sure enough he was bleeding profusely a few minutes later. I guess he was just a little too pumped up.

Cool looking light is my favorite thing to shoot, so these day games are fun. Right around the 3rd quarter the field is split in half between light and shadow, resulting in some dramatic shots.

Hassellbeck played brilliantly. You would never know he was only a few weeks from having a couple of ribs cracked. He threw, ran, and even blocked with no fear. He's a warrior.
