At least I would like to think so :)  But seriously, congratulations to Dustin and Holly, who won a contest on Weddingbee.com. They won free wedding invitations, and are now part of another contest on Minted.com, where people can design save the date cards using their sample pictures. First prize is $1,000! Did some fashion photography over the weekend. Lots of fun. Here is a shot of the lovely Caitlyn. Lots of great images from this shoot, but I still need to finish retouching them. I’ll try to post a few more. 

 Yesterday the M’s needed me to shoot some pictures of a press conference after Dave Niehaus was informed that he won the Ford C. Frick award for baseball broadcast excellence, and will be inducted into the baseball hall of fame. Coolest of all, yesterday was also his birthday. Talk about a cool present. He’s definitely one of the best announcers out there, we are lucky to have him in Seattle as the voice of the Mariners.  

My friend and fellow photographer Mat Hayward is organizing a one day shoot out for all interested photographers. It’s going to be an all day excursion on a whale watching boat around the San Juan Islands.
