Did some fashion photography over the weekend. Lots of fun. Here is a shot of the lovely Caitlyn. Lots of great images from this shoot, but I still need to finish retouching them. I’ll try to post a few more. 

Here’s a little something different. I know I’ve posted a ton of Engagement Pictures lately. A ton of clients scheduled engagements in July, but I’m just about done with all of them. There are a couple more and then we’ll be into a rush of wedding shoots. I’m kind of glad I had so many engagements though, because it forced me to get a little more creative and put more thought into them. It’s easy to get stuck in a groove and just do the same old thing with every client, especially with engagements. It’s really important to me that I give every client something different than what others have gotten. I might shoot a few similar shots, but I won’t be happy with the shoot unless there is something special and unique about every shoot I do.

This is a shot of a model name Lynsey. She’s really cool, and needed some shots for her swimsuit portfolio. We shot these over at the Arboretum near UW at about 830 pm. The temperature was great, light was great, however we forgot mosquito repellent, and man was that a mistake. I forgot that the Arboretum is basically a swamp, so probably the best place for mosquito watching (if you’re into that) in the city, especially in warm weather.

I had bites that lasted about a week, I think she did too. We felt kind of bad dragging her out there since it was my idea, however once I saw the pictures I figured it was worth it

This was from a shoot we did for none other than “Miss Teen South Asia”. The pictures were for her modeling and acting portfolio. She’s a natural in front of the camera.
