I’m really proud of how well the pictures from this wedding turned out. It really made me think back to my progression as a wedding photographer. The first couple years doing this I would have been scared when I saw that it was going to rain at a wedding.

Now, we’ve had enough practice that I really don’t care what the weather looks like. I know we’ll be able to take some beautiful pictures no matter what we have to deal with. I almost welcome rain or other challenges because it forces you to be more creative.

One good thing that rain does, is make foliage more luscious and saturated looking. Because everything was wet it had this really rich green color that made the picture really pop. The pink umbrella the bride had was a nice touch too.

Cute shot of the groom and ring bearer during a sudden shower. They were smart to bring some cool looking umbrella’s along, which were great to have around as props, but also kept everyone dry.
