Happy Super Bowl Sunday Everyone! Since we are closing the book on the 2015 NFL season today, I thought I’d post a few of my favorite shots from this season shooting for the Seattle Seahawks. It was another great year shooting for the Hawks, excited to see what next year brings!
Happy Blue Friday everyone! It was great to be back on the field with the Seahawks again a few weeks ago. It should be another great year with such a talented team out there. The story of the game (other than rainy football August wtf…) was definitely the debut of Tyler Lockett. He looked faster than anyone on the field, and returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Percy who?
Here’s a few timely 🙂 pictures from yesterdays win against the Cardinals. It was kind of a must-win game, so great to see a good result. Hopefully it will be the start of a late season winning streak!
Here are a few from last weekend. It was most exhilarating, the Raiders of Oakland took on the Seahawks of Seattle, and the Seahawks triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin though a giant H. It was a most gripping victory!
Finally able to share some pictures from my big Superbowl adventure. It was a crazy couple of weeks between the NFC Championship all the way through the victory parade. Everything ended up being bigger and more intense than I was expecting. As a photographer, it was a stressful, but very fun couple of weeks. Still hard to believe the Seahawks actually won the Superbowl, and in such convincing fashion. I shot about 12,000 images throughout the whole trip and parade, so it’s tough to narrow them down, but here are XLVIII of my favorites 🙂
Amazing game last weekend. Before this one, the best game I ever shot was the last NFC Championship we played in against the Panthers in 2005. Nothing beats the biggest game of the year in front of the home crowd. And to make it even sweeter, we beat our biggest rivals. I didn’t know if I was going to the Super Bowl until a few days ago, so was kind of trying not to think about it. I was literally looking at my phone every 15 minutes for days, but finally got word that I am going and get to help cover Super Bowl 48 for the Seahawks!
I really can’t express how excited I am for this for a number of reasons. For one, this team is definitely special. They just have that special buzz about them that feels like this is their year. Also, if I could choose any city to shoot another Super Bowl in (sorry Detroit) it would be New York. So much to see and do there, and I love the fact that this one will be outdoors in cold weather. Not only because it probably does give a defensive oriented team a small advantage 🙂 but also because this game should have some extra historical significance. Domes are awful to shoot pictures in, and hopefully the cold weather means real football fans will be at the game vs. the corporate types who usually make up most of Super Bowl crowds.
