4 Seasons Hotel Seattle Portrait Session
Dave & Gina commissioned me to take some portraits during their romantic Anniversary getaway in downtown Seattle. The 4 Seasons Hotel is an amazing spot for pictures being right on the Seattle Waterfront. The sky and great wheel look cool in almost any type of weather! The light in the guest rooms is not bad either as you can see!

A few from Kate and Kevin’s engagement portrait session at Golden Gardens. We lucked out and got some beautiful skies, and an empty beach, but then a rainstorm rolled in 30 minutes later. Luckily we got some great images before the rain came. My cameras, lenses and flash got completely soaked. I can happily report they all survived.

Here’s a few from Heather and Ben’s winter engagement session. We shot a few at the Willow’s Lodge where they got engaged, and then also a few across the street at Chateau St. Michelle.
I love the challenge of shooting during the winter, because the cold, wet, and dark weather forces you to think a little more creatively and shoot differently than during the warmer times of year. We’ve developed a great way to make sure we have “sun” even when the real one isn’t available.

A few from Theresa and Brian’s Engagement Portrait Session. We took a little ride on the ferry boat and had a great time. They live across the water from each other so the ferry has been a big part of their relationship. I love when we can make engagement sessions personal to our couples, and shoot them in interesting locations.
