Here’s a few from the Divisional Playoff game against the Saints. It was an exciting game to watch, and by far the coldest and wettest we’ve had this year. I could barely hold my monopod straight in the wind.
Next up the 49ers this Sunday. I thought the game at the beginning of the season was going to be a crazy one, but never could have imagined that we’d play it again as the NFC championship!

Shout out to New Order fans out there 🙂 I thought the 49ers game earlier this year was big, but I think tonights game against the Saints is going to top it! Finally able to share a few from the last game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Here’s a few from the first preseason game I made it to this year. Normally I miss a lot of the pre-season because of weddings in August, but was able to make it to the Packer game. There was actually quite a lot of action for a pre-season game so it was fun to shoot. I’m excited for this year. Everyone seems to be crowning the 49ers as champs this year so I think the Hawks can surprise some people if things come together.

Here’s a few shots from the Lions game on Sunday. I have to admit I was a bit nervous the first quarter. It was way too reminiscent of the Cardinals game getting down so fast so early in the game. But thankfully the Hawks came together and pulled out a nice win. The secondary had a great game with 5 picks!

The Seattle Sea Gals in top form.

In celebration of Veterans Day there was a fly-over right after the National Anthem

Marcus Trufant got to wave the 12th man flag during intros

I love this shot of Aaron Curry. The look on his face reminds me of seeing a nature shot where a hungry lion circles a wounded animal. You feel bad for the young quarterback, but have to realize it's just the circle of life 🙂

Justin Forsett breaks free for a nice run.

Deon Grant intercepting a pass.

Newly signed Louis Rankin returning a punt. Rumor has it, he is quite fast, and should be an exciting one to watch when the ball is kicked his way.

Nate Burleson runs down the field after a big catch.

T.J. nearly caught this ball, but the Lion defender did a perfect job of knocking it out of his hands.

David Hawthorne makes a nice tackle. He's done an amazing job filling in for Lofa Tatupu. Big shoes to fill.

I always love big crowd shots where you can see a lot of peoples faces and their various reactions.

Josh Wilson runs back an interception for the game clinching touchdown. I love the grin starting to appear on his face.

Favorite shot of the day. He ran right by us before being tackled by happy teammates.

Here’s a few from last weeks beat-down, I mean game against the Jaguars. It was great to see the Hawks finally start to click as a team. Every part of the team played really well.

Anyone who watched sports highlights this week, probably saw that Owen Schmitt actually cracked his head open doing this. I remember thinking how this must hurt as I was shooting this, and sure enough he was bleeding profusely a few minutes later. I guess he was just a little too pumped up.

Touchdown!

Cory Redding runs back a recovered fumble.

Cool looking light is my favorite thing to shoot, so these day games are fun. Right around the 3rd quarter the field is split in half between light and shadow, resulting in some dramatic shots.

Hassellbeck played brilliantly. You would never know he was only a few weeks from having a couple of ribs cracked. He threw, ran, and even blocked with no fear. He's a warrior.

Craig Terrill and Nick Reed combine for a sack.

Aaron Curry celebrates a sack.
